Conceptual Design
Re-imagining buildings and underused sites takes creativity, that’s where we come in. Our approach to design takes cues from local context to make buildings that feel rooted in their place, enhance their surroundings and are a joy to experience.
Our buildings respond to the sun and seasons through their placement on the site, position and size of openings and the relationship between inside & outside spaces. We are interested in crafting buildings that use simple material palettes, textures and elegant detailing. We test out ideas using both physical and computer models, and will make 2d & 3d drawings to communicate, allowing clients to more easily understand their project.
We undertake full planning applications for projects, including change of use for existing buildings and empty sites. We can provide an holistic service including interior design and we have designed bespoke furniture for both ourselves & our clients. We can provide short bursts of design advice on your project via our Design Workshop service. All you need to do is send us some information on your project in advance and outline your intentions and we can give you some helpful advice.
